Canada Site #1
First site targeted for the commercialization of large-scale Clear Hydrogen™ production. It will also act as a centre of excellence for hydrogen R&D.
- Site acquired in 2017.
- Sufficient hydrocarbon resources expected to produce 1,000 tonnes per day of clean hydrogen, for 25 years.
ProtonH2 operates where we can gain controlling interest to the appropriate reservoirs and have sufficient regulatory, environmental, technical and production expertise to produce clear hydrogen.
Energy infrastructure such as oilfields (at varying recovery points), wells, roads, or powerlines, exist in abundance. While these investments have been centered around carbon-intensive systems, Proton can help to realign them with clean energy goals.
